Because Your Outfit Shouldn't Be a Deal Breaker

When you cross paths with someone – whether you’re on your way to work, an event, or meeting a friend – what’s the first thing that you notice about them?

Besides what might be their face, hair, or gigantic forehead - you instantly look at what they’re wearing. At this moment you’re one of four things:

  • Unimpressed πŸ˜’
  • Slightly impressed😏
  • Hella impressed πŸ‘€
  • So impressed that you can’t stop staring and tell them how much you love their outfit πŸ—£(BOOM! New friend)

Whether you want to admit it or not, first impressions matter.

No, seriously.

If you show up to an interview wearing pajamas, there’s a 100% chance you won’t get the job. This could simply look like you walking into the Interviewer’s office, them taking one look at you, and rejecting you right there. No matter how qualified you are for the job, if you didn’t bother putting effort into what you wore, they simply won’t put any effort into getting to know you.

Maybe you already have a job that you love, and you want to get promoted. You work your ass off daily and bring incredible value to the company, but you never bother to look decent. You’ve been begging for this promotion for what seems like forever – and yet it seems like your boss won’t give you a second look.

You go on dates all the time. But you always show up to a date looking raggedy AF and wonder why you never get asked on a second one. Ouch.

Brothers and sisters let me tell you this: Your outfit should NOT be a deal breaker.

You shouldn’t be neglected opportunities – especially ones that can change your life – all because you didn’t bother putting on a nice shirt and pants. All because your outfit didn’t fit within your lifestyle, personality, and goals.

Committing to dressing better legit increases confidence. I mean you might even get to the point where you’re labeled a narcissist because of how confident you are (@me). Having a wardrobe you love, eliminates one thing you’re stressed about (and trust me, life is nothing BUT stress) and forces people to start paying attention.

And we love when people start paying attention.

Because we start getting things that we want and reaching levels we never knew that were in reach.

So love, what does dressing better look like for you? What improvements can you make to your style that ensures higher confidence and more opportunities? Are you ready to join Style Worthy Club
